Electric plywood is a densified laminated wood , based on high quality and selected beech
veneers, stick together with a Electrical thermosetting synthetic resins under high pressure and temperature.

The most important characteristics are:
Good Electrical properties
Excellent absorption of transformer oil
High mechanical strength
Low and high temperature resistance
Good resistance to the abrasion and wear

Due to the characteristics of the product , it is mainly use in the electrical oil transformers
applications as high electrical insulation material as pressure beams, step blocks, pressure spare parts, top and bottom support coils, potential rings, pressure rings , spacers, etc. For his mechanical strength, it can be also use for many applications as abrasion resistance material under stress.

Standard Range of Production
The electric plywood is produced in 3 different densities,
L : Low Density , between 0,85 to 1,00 g/cm3
M : Medium Density, from1,05 to 1,20 g/m3
H : High Density , over 1,20 to 1,35 g/cm3

The lamination is made on crosswise veneers , and the standard thickness of the veneer is 2 mm. Under specification we can produce from 1 mm , 1,2 mm and 1,5 mm thickness veneer too. For non electrical application and according specific requirements , we can produce in a sheets on parallel veneer.
